THE RULESPlease read these rules, even if you don't like to. I understand the task, for I have done it many times, but please, just read them, who knows, you might find a surprise.
General
- Respect is a key part of this site! We ask that you respect the members and guest and treat them all the same. I would hate to come and give you a warning for not doing such a thing and making someone upset, it is not in my nature, but believe me, I will do it.
- We are a PG-13 Site! If you have anything start to get Mature, then you Fade in - Fade Out. You are not allow to see Mature things and I don't want to see it. Proboards TOS can shut us down due to this.
- Also, the most important rule we have saved for last in the general section is have FUN! We want everyone to have a good time and we don't want to lose members.
Inactivity
- We want to keep on top of inactive members to try and encourage everyone to be active.
- If you join and have not posted at all within a week, your account will be put in the Category of Inactive. Anyone placed in this category has until the end of the next calendar month to get active before their account is deleted (ex: profile is placed on inactive 11/11/15. Profile will be deleted 12/31/14).
- If account has a character that has been accepted and placed into a Roleplaying Category (ex: Author, Instead, Student), you will be contacted after your first week and then given an extra week before your account is placed on inactive and profile moved in archives. (ex: Jane Doe is inactive for one week; contact on 11/11/14 about inactivity; put as inactive on 11/18/14 & is contacted about being moved to inactive status; account deleted on 12/31/14).
- Staff who become inactive will be demoted one rank every week they are inactive(ex: admin --> GMod --> Mod --> Members --> Inactive --> Deleted). Once they reach inactive status, then they will still be given until the end of next month to return and get active again.
- HOW CAN YOU AVOID THIS? If you have spoke to staff about being absent in private, we will make a note of it. If staff know you have your own site, we will understand and take into consideration and will contact you prior to changing your to Inactive Status.
Role Playing
- We ask that all your In Character Post(ICP) be at least a hundred(100) to a hundred and fifty(150) word count. We understand that sometimes everyone has writers block, but please try and reach 150 or better.
- WE ALSO ASK, that those replying to post try and match or write more then the original poster. Most people who post long posts give you PLENTY to work with. USE YOUR IMAGINATION.
- How many characters can someone have is a huge question everyone ask. We are allowed as many as you want, but we ask for at least one of each gender.
- We ask that if you have two character you do not post with two characters on one account. I know some people just make a account and then post with just one character. Please don't. Please make one account PER CHARACTER.
- Since I said before that all character need their own account, let me make sure you understand this. If you have four characters, then you have four accounts, if you have twins they you have two accounts. That is that!!! Also, be sure that you equal things out. If you have three accounts, be sure that one of them is a boy at least once or vice versa.
- I know that everyone wants a perfect character... Well... FORGET IT! I don't care if it is something to do with mental or Physical, not character is perfect and I do not want a perfect character on this site. Just please, no Mary Sue or Gary Sue on this site.
- Liquid time is allowed here, however we do as that you don't abuse this, or we will have to take it away, don't go crazy with this!
- Some sites have a problem with two things most the time... Powerplaying and God-Mode. We ask that this does not happen. Do not control another player's character and do not make it to where your character always success or knows that something is going to happen, when no character needs to know until it happens.
- Character Plot Pages are for you to help your character become interwoven into the fabric of the site. You are welcome to make a plot page how YOU want to make it, but try and make it neat and organized so we can figure it out.
- If you are inactive and do not reply to a Activity Check you will be deleted and your character can go up for adoption. If you want to adopt out your character there will be a board where you can post their application. Adoptions can be handled how ever the original owner wants to but if it becomes a problem the Staff will take away the adoption option.
Graphics
- We ask that no signatures stretches the page. We ask that nothing goes over 415X250. I know random numbers but the way this skin is set up it won't stretch it will just cut off part of your picture.
- If you have a image that is too large and stretches the page then either find a new one or put it in link form. If you do not do this, you will get a notification that your picture has been removed and the link is at the bottom of that post.
- If you did not make the picture then we ask that you please do not credit your pictures. If you claim the picture as your own and we find out you will be warned and it will not be good. The image will be taken away and you will not be allowed to use it again on this site.
- If you make graphics and would like a graphic shop, please PM a admin or staff member with some examples. We will get you set up and then you will be place as Monitor.
Out of Character Talking
- No Fight In The OOC Boards! Do not let everyone read your arguments, if you have a problem with another character then come to a staff member and we will work it out without others knowing. DON'T GET ANYONE ELSE INVOLVED!!!
- Please, do not post in Character on the OOC boards. I know some games need you to do this and that is the only exception to this rule. Other then that, don't do it.
